Electronic Stethoscopes

There is a wide range of tools used by physicians, nurses and EMTs in order to help treat patients. Most lay people only see the invasive surgical tools and expensive electronic devices used in hospital dramas or emergency situations. For almost 200 years, a key tool used in diagnosing internal problems has been the stethoscope. Before hospital staff members do anything, they apply this simple device to a patient's body to arrive at a preliminary diagnosis.

Many professionals have begun to notice the limitations of the traditional stethoscope. Outside noises make a clean body sound difficult to obtain and professionals need to narrow in on a sound occasionally to make a proper diagnosis. Cardionics has developed an electronic stethoscope called the E-Scope that assists medical professionals in making the right diagnosis the first time around.

Increase Audible Sounds with Electronic Stethoscopes

These electronic stethoscopes are different from their traditional brethren in a variety of ways. Volume control on this electronic stethoscopes can be adapted constantly with one-touch of a finger. Internal filters allow you to broaden your sound range from 70-2000Hz for breath sounds and from 40Hz-900Hz for faint heart sounds. Your neck won't feel the burden of these stethoscopes because they are constructed of lightweight materials. In most cases, the E-Scope Electronic Stethoscope will be found to be lighter than an acoustic stethoscope.

The E-Scope chest pieces can be changed from the Specialist Diaphragm to a Specialist Bell or Specialist Pediatric Bell. Room noise is reduced with all three of these chest pieces are machined from high-grade stainless steel. Maximum amplification is reached at 120dB at 100Hz providing clear, pure sound..
